General Overview
Since 2009, Full Court Peace Travel has led over 100 engaging, meaningful and impactful sports service trips to a variety of locations. Below you’ll find information on each adventure, fit with pictures, testimonials and logistical details.
Belfast, Ireland
Next Trip: March 17-21, 2027 (fly overnight on March 16)
March ‘26 - students tour the wall dividing Protestant and Catholic communities in East Belfast.

Our oldest, dearest destination. These trips span five calendar days, starting with an overnight flight from NYC. Participants read Mike Evans’ book and watch recommended films and documentaries before leaving. Upon arrival, you’ll spend time in both communities, eventually being involved in bringing kids together across community lines. The trip includes tours led by former combatants, meetings with program alumni, visits to nearby Derry and Giants Causeway, and of course a lot of basketball.

The group flies from NYC to Dublin, and then travels as a group to Belfast via van. We stay in the Clayton Hotel, a centrally located hotel in a safe, tourist area.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

Three-day weekends or full-week trips, our work history in the capital city is approaching its decade mark. We now offer baseball and basketball service trips, which include equipment drives before we leave.

The group flies from NYC to Santo Domingo before being picked up by our trusted transportation team. We stay in this AirBnb, which is in Zona Colonial, the city’s main tourist district.

Havana, Cuba

Our most sought-after trip, this trip is as authentic as it gets when getting to know Cuba.

Following all OFAC and US State Department rules, we travel to Miami, then directly to the island. We stay in AirBnb homes - having the houses to ourselves - that are owned by families we’ve known since 2009. Full Court Peace Travel handles all VISA and permission.
During each trip, we repair three basketball courts; we are also introducing street soccer to Cuba, for those are interested!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Hurricane Maria in September, 2017 left school outdoor facilities partially destroyed and totally abandoned. These same courts and fields serve as community centers for residents who live close by. We’re partnering with all and any sports organizations that are in need; this project is our youngest, with fewer than ten trips executed.

Wind River Reservation, Wyoming

The who, what and why of our work on Wind River.
Basketball is a way of life on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. We visit to support our neighbors, hear their stories and to taste the local culture.

Powwows, sincere talks, visits to schools, and of course, outdoor court repair. This trip spans six days, beginning with flights to Salt Lake City, UT and a four-hour drive north. Stop to see buffalo, moose and elk, then head to Lander, WY, where we stay in the Lander Inn.
We sit with Natives, hear their stories and ask thoughtful questions. We try their foods, attend their ceremonies and play the game we all love together.
